
Ancient Roman Recipes
- 1kg pears, peeled, cored, chopped
- 6 eggs
- 4 tblsp honey
- 100ml Passum (sweet grape juice)
- a little bit of oil
- 50ml Liquamen (useĀ fish sauce or 1/4 tsp salt)
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- ground pepper to taste
Method
- Mix pears, pepper, cumin, honey, Passum, Liquamen and oil.
- Whip eggs with a fork and place all in casserole.
- Cook approx 30 minutes on small to moderate heat.
- Serve with sprinkle of pepper.
