Lime and Garlic Balmain Bugs

Perfect for the BBQ

Ingredients

  • 60 g butter melted
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 tsp finely grated lime zest
  • 8 green balmain bug flesh or tails halved, deveined

Method

  • Spray a barbecue or char-grill with oil. Preheat on high.
  • In a small jug, whisk together butter, juice, garlic and rind.
  • Brush bugs with butter mixture and season to taste.
  • Barbecue for 3-5 mins, each side or until golden and cooked through.
