Perfect for the BBQ
Ingredients
- 60 g butter melted
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 tsp finely grated lime zest
- 8 green balmain bug flesh or tails halved, deveined
Method
- Spray a barbecue or char-grill with oil. Preheat on high.
- In a small jug, whisk together butter, juice, garlic and rind.
- Brush bugs with butter mixture and season to taste.
- Barbecue for 3-5 mins, each side or until golden and cooked through.


These look delicious! They really do look like bugs also, I’m sure you could trick someone into thinking they were real bugs! I think I’ll trying putting this on the BBQ sometime soon though, thanks!
